Anyone else getting this? I have been waiting forever for it. It was supposed to come out in like Jan of 07, then in the summer, I finally preordered it Jul 07 and now it got pushed back to Nov 17th 08.
The wait is almost over and the demo is out already and I really like it. |

I played the demo. I'm very angry. It's so good, I have no choice but to buy it. The graphics are top notch and yet the game runs extremely well. I saw no slow down at all on the demo, even when dozens of zombies were running at me screaming and three AI characters were running around helping me kill them.

It will take a lot more for EA to earn my money again, they have failed me...seems Activision is going the same route. Still have good ole Rockstar and THQ though. Never was into zombie games anyway, just not enough to catch my eye.

The performance never teeters no matter if your fighting 1 zombie or 5000000. Real crisp graphical engine too, reminds me alot of the counterstrike, valve, steam engine in the late 90's but texturally upgraded. It seems that EA came out to play on this one. I normally hate EA games as well for the lack of quality but this game is a real piece of art. If nothing else I suggest everyone at least downloads the demo. |

EA is the distributor, Valve was is the developer and it does use the Source Engine. If you don't like EA, buy it on Steam. I know some people have a problem with Steam, but I think it's awesome.

Yes but EA still seems to push the devs into pushing a ****ty product out faster rather than wait for the bug testing and beta process, or even in some cases shut the development down early or prolong it dude to "programming" mishaps. hah. Either way they recieved brownie points from me just because they distributed this game, its that good lol.
