Love's Light

Somewhere other than this time
Just outside this light
It lurks beyond the shadows
Standing pure
Within it's space.

Somewhere where there's meaning
Where life itself
Seems teaming,
Waiting for the call
Within a radiant pool,
It speaks to one and all.

Sometimes in the silence
You can hear it's tears alone,
Forsaken by the fallen
Hid by bitter's maulin'.

Yet somewhere out of time
Just outside this space
A weary voice comes calling
Which sets a quickened pace.

From within this pool of radiance
Think to wash your soul
Bask within the heart sound
And let your music flow.

Feel it deeply working
And heed it's weary call
For even if you've hid it
Love's light shall never fall.

Love's Light
as tenacious
as a weed
finding the cracks
in concrete hearts.
Its root system
imperceptibly meandering
below the surface.
