Some say he is a nephilim, a child of a fallen angel. Some say he is the devil in the disguise of a young man with a privileged family. Some say he is evil itself able to manipulate anyone and anything he wants. It is said Job could only be touched by Satan with God’s permission, I have often wondered what kind of deal Degane struck with God for me. Some believe he is just an army brat who wound up in the wrong place for the wrong reasons but around here, he is known as Dr. Frenzeller’s pet and the Commander’s sidekick in torture and mayhem. But I know him, I have known him all my life, from every fantasy and dream I have ever had, I have seen his face, in many forms, but I know him and he is the deepest darkest secret of my life, among many secrets, as is the boy standing next to me, albeit, he is of the light.
