Today my daughter and her family comes up from FL to help me load the u-haul up. Then to Jacksonville,FL we shall go tomorrow morning. The ex got my house in the divorce. That sucks to. It was my parents house for 31 years. This has been home to me. Now I have to leave everything that I know. I have been to lawyers after lawyers. There is nothing I can do about it. So here I go to FL. I hope I can meet some of yall there. I am gonna be lost no friends there. If any one wants to get together when I get there that would be great.

So sorry you lost your family home, that is horrible, I walked away from my house just to stop the arguing....So now you get to go to Florida....yay! One of my best friends had papers drawn up before her marriage (she too had lived in a family home/grandparents) The papers she had drawn up..said that he could only obtain half of the equity gained at time of appraisal and marriage on forward if they were to get divorced.

Its hard to right now. My mon died 8-11-2008 here in this house and my died here 3-15-1995 also. I was my moms caregiver for 7 1/2 years. I have no brothers or sisters to talk to. My daughter is my family and Mingle is also.

I wish you nothing but the best. And that really sucks that you lost a family home. But trust me take it from somebody that is use to starting over more often then not. You will adapt. It may suck at the start, but over time you will learn that it is not that bad.
