I figured that since I went to three different coffee shops today and not ONE of them seem to know how to stir a cup of coffee I would offer a free lesson right here on Mingle. Really there is nothing to it!

Three Easy Steps

1)Insert spoon in to cup of coffee
2) Start stirring
3) Keep stirring until you do not feel the sugar granules on the bottom of the cup any longer.

Thank you for taking part of my lesson. Please have a cup of well stirred coffee and enjoybigsmile

I'm tellin' ya. That's a pet peave of mine, like the classic "shaken, not stirred" line. Do it right.

i always add the sugar and non dairy creamer first, that way it meltsd and blends when the coffee is added

Me too. I like a nice even cup of coffee not harsh stuff leading to REALLY super sweet stuff. That is why I alway ask for it welled stirred.

I am a full time waitress and here is how we do it where I work.

1: give customer the coffee
2: give customer the spoon
3: give customer the sugar
4: customer stirs own coffee until happy
5: I go get customers food while customer makes loud clink clink clink noise stirring coffee.

Does not work like that in a coffee shop. We stir each and evey coffee that has sugar in it.

I've been using an emu feather -- it doesn't stir well and the coffee tastes like chicken. It's still better than that Coca-Cola Blak stuff, though.

Amen. Got to have the stirrage.

Also, I like stoneware so I can get the ring.

I love my coffee: some days I do it all so as to not make a sound until I ring the cup.

Are these drive thru coffee shops? Most every one I've been in has had a cream and sugar station where you do it yourself.

I like to spoon. Oh. That's not what you meant. My bad.
