That's just it..people don't put such "effort" into relationships these days... relationships have become disposable unfortunately. It's very sad actually.

For the OP...everyone's time for healing is different. I, myself took 1.5yrs after our breakup before I went out on my first date. We were together for 6yrs, he cheated, I ended things. I finally just had to tell myself that I needed to get back out there, enough was enough...I miss being in a "relationship"...but not if it's not going to be completely monogomous.

I agree with your statement. Furthermore, when a relationship ends because of infidelity, is even harder to end because that is the ultimate betrayal. Good for you that you are courageous to stand up and said enough!
