What is this beauty before me
I Never saw it before today
Life taught me some lessons
I learned to open my eyes

Where was all this rapture
yester-year when i needed it so bad
blinded by myself i ran afraid
to be happy somehow was a fear

This is my new beginning
alone on my own
I can make this change
with my new senses

Take this breath
I know it's my first
tastes so fresh
clean as my new slate

I know now what i was
Missing myself in the dark
I now have my candle lit
Leading the way I'm going forward
