I've had some disturbing, and potentially really bad, news this morning. My ex (who I still have a very good relationship with, for the most part) told me he's been having very localized headaches for over a month and they can't figure out why. He's waiting on the results of the MRI (or CAT scan, can't remember which) but his doctors are relatively certain he has a tumor. His sister died a few years ago from basically the same thing. He has no family in the area and I'm basically all he has, aside from our son. If something does happen to him, my son will be beyond devastated. So if anyone could spare a prayer, happy thought, good wishes, whatever you believe in, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks! Send you every good vibe I have Gal. Just thought I'd give this a quick update. My ex does not have a brain tumor. He does, however, have an infection in his brain which is causing some swelling. He is currently on antibiotics and is going in for further testing today. His doctor says brain infections are relatively uncommon and are almost always caused by something wrong elsewhere in the body. They need to track that down in order to, hopefully, prevent it from getting worse or recurring. So, while he is not out of the woods yet, the woods do appear a little less forbidding than they did a few days ago. Thank you again, my lovely peeps, for all the kind words, prayers, juju and everything else.
