My six year old boy has never seen snow. We do get snow on the tips of the two mountains here. One of these winters I'll take him up Mauna Kea and go sledding.

To lay down and make snow angels.... To hear that 'swoosh' as you ski.... To listen in an igloo at the silence.... To sled, that thrill.... To drink hot cocoa afterwards.... ah the bliss of snow...

Well BL4766 it could be worse.... snow sucks... so do earthquakes, drought, hurricanes, blizzards, tornados, volcanic activity, monsoons, etc... be grateful for what "we" have....   Well, blizzards go with snow, so that doesn't really count. As far as the rest, we don't have any of those, so why should we have to put up with snow, either?  |

 WE WERE TRICKED... it snowed for about ~4 hours...then all melted overnight

We got a taste the other night, just a dusting. When it comes later in Dec. it stays till the end of Mar. I don't mind the cold and snow, but the gray skies until Spring gets real old, real quick.
