That happened to me. I told people I left due to poor management. In that, I was hired at 32 hours a week and given 16, so I left. (New job in hand) I never said, "Not enough hours"..... why would I take a job with not enough hours?


Well it usually happens when someone is promised a certain amount of hours or shifts, and the company fails to keep that promise. At least in my experience.


Yes, but you did not leave due to "not enough hours". You left due to poor management.

I would prefer to not to tell a potential new manager that I had problems with my previous management when applying for a new job. Especially since they will probably be calling for a reference.

I also wouldn't tell current manager "I'm leaving because you're a sucky liar." I would say, "I need to find another job that can give me more hours because I can't afford my birth control and heroin."
