Having done security for many different bands in my younger years, I've already met a great lot of them. Some of them, I would hang out with on our personal time. Others who were not in the area, we had each others' phone numbers and addresses. One of them, I even bought a guitar from (a 1975 Gibson Flying V, which I sadly no longer have).
Just some of the artists I've met/hung out with personally: Joan Jett Bachman-Turner Overdrive Helix Steve Jay (Weird Al's bass player) Firehouse Sebastian Bach Great White REO Speedwagon and many, many others. I've been quite fortunate. |

She is. She's very demure, but definitely a "take no bullsh!t" kinda girl.
Very sweet and petite....a little five-foot-nothin' little girl. A little bit of pretty-much unknown trivia: That Gibson Melody Maker she always used, the white one with the double cutaways and the one humbucker....she bought that from Eric Carmen after the Raspberries first disbanded. |

I meet Staind last month. They were so cool, and a day I will always remember. Going to meet them again later this month

Years ago, a friend took me backstage to meet Leslie West & Felix Pappalardi of Mountain. Leslie was way cool. Felix was a pompous ass.
I guess I' like to meet Bob Dylan still, but most of the guys I'd really like to meet are all dead now: Lennon, Hendrix, Joplin, Garcia......what can I say? I'm old |
