Things are on hold with dad, he is on morphine as of yesterday. Just a matter of time now I think. I really appreciate all your kind words, thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much.  I keep coming back and reading these posts in my bad moments and it really helps. Take care.

Dad died about 30 minutes ago, went into respiratory failure. The nursing home called at 5 a.m. to tell me he was crashing. I have been with him in the ER since then. I came home to get some things and am going back to work for awhile anyways.
