I pray that this dream can now finally come true.

Can we as a people come together and judge someone by the content of their character and not the color of their skin?

This is a serious question, so I would like to see some serious answers.

i like to think that the fact that obama was elected last night is evident of this dream coming true.

4 decades ago it would have been unthinkable that a black man, no matter the content of his character would be considered seriously as president of the united states. this is no longer true.

Okay, so maybe it might not be prudent of me to post here being that I'm Canadian and there are huge gaps of understanding between our nations. But, I just wanted to say that I'm really glad Obama was elected!
Listening to a few of his speeches really made me realize what awesome potential he possesses. He really wants to help and improve things, and that's honestly much better then the last guy.
(Seriously does Bush even know how to read? Because, we have calenders with "Bush-isms" written next to the day-for every single day.) In any case I wanted to say congrats!

Who knows maybe next time it will even be woman!
