I would say ..... why settle? You are a wonderful person in someone else's eyes...just a means of finding "that person". Why put yourself thru that? There is someone for everyone out there...just have to sift thru the not so good ones to find the diamond...keep your chin up young man...you are a cutie and should have NO problem finding someone for yourself..:)

I think if she is willing to go on a date with you.....She wants to learn more about you......have some confidence in your ability to "win" her affection...

for another person.

So you have an option of going on a date with someone who you know has feelings for another person, they are upfront and honest about it.
You don't know what could come out of the date obviously, but is it worth putting yourself on the line when you usually don't, with someone that is really into another person?
Aren't you just setting yourself up for failure?

Opinions please.

If you really like that woman be her friends for now and she might forget the other one and fall for you if you are there for her but if it hurts to much to see her like someone else then let it go for now.

If they are doing it without the other person's full knowledge and consent, and there is no "don't ask, don't tell" agreement in place, then they are cheating and you can bet that they'll be doing it to you, too, sooner or later. Dogs don't change their spots and the best predictor of future behavior is the past. If they break trust this way, they may be capable of breaking trust and hurting other ways, as well.

You also have to ask yourself why you would lower your standards in this way, if you are. In my humble opinion, if you have to ask the question in the OP, well then, you probably already know its wrong.
