Its clear to me that it varies depending on what you do for a living but i feel like there are some jobs that dating someone in the same field can be bothersome. I have my masters degree in clinical social work and when out wit ha woman in her second year... I can feel her analyzing and digging, trying to connect dots. I cant blame her because its weird when you learn a super cool new skill not to use it often. The best way i can explain the feeling is if a car sales man decides to buy a car at another store and has to "deal " with someone trying to " sell" him a car.. can you think of fields where it could also be bothersome to date someone im the same field.

Speaking for myself, no....but then again, I don't know of any women offhand that work in the construction field.

I don't know if I would want to date another writer or not. It might be nice to be in one of those Kellerman situations, but I really can't imagine myself collaborating with anybody on anything.
