Humm well, on the upside those attending likely could see the candidate well.

Tampa McCain rally: Where is everybody?

About 30 minutes before John McCain is scheduled to lead a rally outside Raymond James Stadium, looks like there's maybe 1,000 people here. What's up with that? On the day before the election? Bush drew at least 15,000 people to a rally just across the street on the Sunday before the 2004 election.

"We are the quiet majority that goes out and gets things done. ... I smell victory,'' said state Rep. Kevin Ambler. Good thing he smells it, because it's hard to see it with this crowd.

Oh?

Like the rally just days ago when the McCain folks shipped in people from a school to make it look like they had large numbers of supporters?

No like the rally I attended that was a WHOLE lot larger then McCain expected...

and the Obama rally that I went to where a lot of the people I met were just there cause they wanted to hear what he had to say...

And were as disapointed as me that it was more of the same and had NO SUBSTANCE.

Specially when you have (as have I) compared his VOTING record to his CURRENT WORDS.

And wonder if he has suddenly changed his spots.

But then again... a leopard is a leopard.

Wait a minute! People really attend those rallies? I thought it was the muppet producers just trying to scrounge up side jobs.

Really? Those crowds aren't computer generated? Who would have thought? Truth is, there is no election this year. All of the campaigning was done on the sound lot where they faked the Apollo moon landing.
