I can't figure out why McCain request any. It was his job to get the money for his people. Have you ever been to AZ. Except for being hot in the summer, it's pretty dang nice. I don't think they are hurting there. Excuse me? Not hurting in AZ. I beg to differ. Our school district has a 1.5 MILLION dollar deficit because of fuel cost. And no raises for teachers for the 3rd year in a row. We have people moving out of the state because they have lost their jobs. We have plenty of room for "Wind Farms" but McCain has not fought for them or other forms of alternative energy. We have a major problem with illegal immigration. And who knows how many "snow birds" may be visiting this winter. Oh, yes there are problems in Arizona just like every other state in the union. My sister is doing ok. |

Dont forget monsoon season, illegal immigrants (if you care about that), too many cacti on the mountain biking trails!!, bats, awful zoos, scorpions, and other things that I cant recall. Bottom line...everyone is suffering because of the economy. Know several retirees who are now looking for work because of money lost in the stock market.
