Kind of shows how high politicians hold educateing children when they use school buildings for polling places. Why can't they just rent some of the empty retail space. Or use the malls that get free water and other community perks. Least then there would be parking.

Also, when voting here, you can't wear an Obama shirt or McCain shirt. No pins either. They don't want people influencing others on how to vote.





100 ft limit. But I have seen people campaining at the 101 ft .

They only close the schools here if it's a presidential election.


Nobody I know remembers that happening here before.





Well,all our schools are polling places, and stay open unless it's a presidential election--All the city offices are closed as well, if it's a presidential election.That's the way it's been for as long as I remember.


Not all of our public schools are polling places. Many churches are though.

Farther from the city the VFW halls are polling places.

I've mostly voted in churches which is somewhat ironic if you think about it - separation of church and state.

I do know that a lot of business close early so employees have time to vote.

I don't know about the city offices being closed. I'm going to see if we do that.

Winx,,, I beleieve all the school's are open in Arkansas,,, I vote at a church and yes they bring my ballot out side so the roof doesn't fall in!!!
