Happy Halloween MsWiz

Thank you for your beautiful comment, I got inspired whilst watching a documentary on Muslim women ( who were quite radical and very Westernized) Despite the men trying to subdue these women they were the ones in control of Government offices, the media, hospitals and the courts.

Happy Halloween sweet Bonny~I would venture to guess that those Muslim women probably are a hell of a lot stronger than their men since they've had to put up with such an oppressive archaic society disregarding their gender for oh so long. This piece of yours clearly reflects their strength and yours.

Without meaning to sound condescending............Aren't we always strongest at our "weakest" times ? Most women, I think you'll agree tend not to bow under pressure. flowers

Not at all condescending Bon~we are generally stronger during in many ways. Let's face it. Can you honestly see a MAN carrying a child around in his belly for 9 months, give that child birth and then fight like a hungry lionness to make sure that child is fed and warm daily? *grin*

<<----teasing the Mingle Men

LOL, now that would be a sight for sore eyes !! The fist man to bear a child would contact the Guinness Book Of Records then take to his bed to await the day of the "happy" event, you know they would not have the stamina to go through nine months of morning/evening sickness, swollen ankles, preclampsia, not to mention continuous spots, sweating and the ultimate.................Make-up not looking right because of greasy and bloated face !!! rofl rofl

Behind the veil, there is a beautiful crime too:wink: flowerforyou
Sharing another one from the vault

Behind The Veil

A veil hides my face from scrutiny
Yet leaves exposed the best of me
My eyes, the window to my soul
bares witness as my strength unfolds
No fabric is strong enough
to hold captive the spirit within

Behind the veil dwells assurance
keeping intact my imminent avaunce
I plot and scheme my strategy
attending to detail with great alacrity
before taking bold steps forward

Behind this veil I made my sanctuary
I take control of what's best for me
Fine tuning my inner self
and deep into my consciousness delve
My appearance is only part of the tale
I am happy to live behind my veil
