OK this may sound a little nuts but how many of you have lucid dreams? I
do quite often and I do whatever I want. Its amazing. Just curious. I
seem to be in the minority.

Mike, you are not in the minority. My dreams are so vivid and recurring
that I sometimes wake up in a cold sweat. My recurring dreams almost
always have to do with school. I've sign up for a class and forgot
about it 'til final exam day and won't graduate. Or I have a big
research paper or project to do and forget about it 'til the last
minute. I wake up and it takes me about a minute to realize that it's
not real. Last night I dreamed that the toilets were all stopped up.
When I awoke, I had to go check the potties to see if it really
happeded. It didn't. Are we messed up? LOL

NO... I don't know about OBE. I'm just talking about dreams.

In a sence it is a dream. It happens when you sleep. You are concious
and feel as if your moving around outside your body.

Only time I have dreams that I remember are ones that tend to be
premonitions. real freaky

What Mike's talking about is not OBE. They're dreams that you can't
separated from reality for minutes after you wake up.

I have complex dreams, very detailed and in color... Very weird, had
them as a kid and it stopped for a while and now I am having them again.
Some of them good dreams, others not so good.

No they are dreams that you can control. When you are in a dream and
realize you are dreaming. Then you simply do whatever you wish. It's
like virtual reality.

I understand....I have tried to have lucid dreams but never do...I
always thought it would be cool and interesting, something to ponder
over. One of my friends has and he says its amazing...to have such
control over something like dreams.

Use to have a reoccurring dream about flying in a valley. There was a
train track and a big long tunnel. It took me probably 2 years with that
dream to actually make it through the tunnel. I could go down to the
river through the trees and over the tunnel bit not through it. Couldn’t
turn 360 deg either. Anyway, when I finally was able to make it through
the tunnel the dream stopped. Dang I miss that dream, it was fun. I
liked skimming the water and looking at the fish then banking around the
hillside. Sometimes my physical body would move in bed as I did a
banking turn.

A neat thing to do is track your dreams and see how they relate to your
physical world, or your human experience. Edgar Cayce “the sleeping
phrofet” has some great readings about this. A cool little book to check
out is Wake up to Your Dreams” by Sandra Collier. It’s not focused on
lucid dreams or lucid dreaming, but interpretation of any dream.
