Right; We have never had the ideal candidate & I am not as happy with as I could have been--but can you imagine where we woulld be if we had elected a lying, no good bastard like Carey??? Johnny...you'll learn pretty fast on here that it's pretty much like minded thinkers...there's just a few of us conservatives in this neighborhood...I find that just lurking and reading what they write...seems to put a smile on my face...without all the headaches...good luck ! Hmm all liberals on a conservative sponsered website...Go figure!!!

Imagine that one!!! 100,000 thinking people. Then he went to Kansas City that same day. 70,000 people showed up!! McCain came here a few days later. A few showed thousand people showed up. I can't imagine a thinking person thinking that it was okay to have Palin as a V.P.

I will be glad when the whole darn mess is over with It won't be for decades.... Obama shall win. Is he the best choice? I think almost everyone disagrees. Ron Paul Dennis Kucinich Hell even Nader/Gonzolas would make a better ticket that the McBamas. The sad thing is, even after vote out all the trash, and throw people like Obama and McCain all out of congress,the presidency, and the courts, it will take many years before we could say "I'm glad this is over". There is a hundred years or more of garbage that needs to be cleaned up. Do the research. Do the math. It's depressing but it's true...

Maybe when everyone does that we will have some compitence in the white house.... it is a tough fight to i have been there with ya threw it the only wasted vote other than not voting IS VOTING AGAINST THE OTHER CANDIDATE we need an article v convention to change political office rule in the federal govt term limits -- dispose of electoral college -- do away with their retirement and put them in social security -- must have a clear over 51% to win election or a run off is held -- if no 51% in run vp becomes the other candidate but hey what do i know
