I just have to say this.

I had a male friend who felt he was God's gift to females. He routinely walked up to women in bars, grocery stores...well almost anywhere and said,"I am damned good. You ought to take me to bed"

He was slapped and yelled at a good deal.

Still, he had an amazingly high success rate. It might have helped that he was a musician and very handsome.

One day after being slapped he told me with a long look on his face that it was sad that some women slapped him just for stating the truth and asking an honest question.

I just laughed and told him I wasn't buying it. Then he admitted he did deserve to be slapped.

well you know the old saying...never slap a man who chews tobacco...

I'd never let one who did close enough to me to be slapped.

By the way, I have been suspended and know others who have as well.

Anyone notice that through this entire campaign the political ads on this site were all McCain/Palin?

The site and or the mods earlier suspended many posters who were viewed as liberal while personal, vile and violent attacks by the right wingers were allowed to stand. They weren't suspended because they kept posting.

Then there were a few slaps on the wrist that were evidenced by a posters absence.

It's pretty amusing to see some of those people complain about the climate on these boards. Funny, I guess it was okay to stay while they enjoyed a free rein to insult, belittle and call names but who now feel that the climate has changed.

Please don't go you all! We need you now more than ever.
