Senseless love

Under the wings of angels my heart cries.
Trying to move forward in the mist of a backwards world.
Emotions as blue as a clear summer sky.
The past holds hands with the present an slow dances with life.

Senseless love a strawberry field of romance.

Silver roses reflect ambiguous day dreams.
In the mist of each heartbeat a memory falls from grace.
Time stands in denial while trying to defend it's involvement with the present.
Champagne kisses whispering gently my way, but her heart never looks my way.

Senseless love a strawberry field of romance.

Paper moon personality sets my mind ablaze upon a evening sky.
A glass spider web set a drift upon destiny.
Careless whispers echoing across these footprints upon my heart.
Time becomes a prisoner of love held captive by the potential of a new day within a Senseless love.
