Come this Friday morning...my daughter will share my last name! I am raising her on my own, with no child support and no interaction with her father whatsoever! She deserves to have her mommy's name! I am thrilled! Not sure what your Ex did to deserve this, but i would not be celebrating....children need a father in their lives....celebrating that your daughter has no father in her life is just not right....whatever situation occured to create this is usually created by two people.....their usually is two sides to every story

I am sure that she is very much aware of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, as a single parent of a child, whose child was crying this morning b/c he wanted to see his dad, who hasn't even had phone contact with him in about 6 months. I would be doing the happy dance too if I could cut him legally out of my child's life. Because he has not provide one single cent to a child that he claims to want to love and provide for.... and spent maybe a totally of a week with this child in his whole entire life.

Actually the man I am referring to not only is a dead beat, but kicked me in the face while laying down with my newborn daughter...nuff said??? Pick your battles wisely my friend. A father's role is important yes...but some deserve it and others dont!!!!
