My mom is going for gallbladder surgery tomorrow. We've been told they will have cardiologists and ventilator staff available for her if they need them. I pray this is not the case.
She has asked for prayers. I pray for her to have a simple surgery and for all to go right. I also pray for the doctors and medical staff around her. I was told she would only live 6 months to a year due to the final stages of COPD two summers ago... however she has outlived expectations. She has lost a great deal of weight since then and hasn't been able to eat much due to her gallbladder.

Sending much love your way for you and your mother.

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to You. Allow Your healing hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others. Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch my mind with Your wisdom, that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in my need, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which You have created

I called my mom tonight to let her know there are people praying for her. She wanted me to extend her thank you to all of you. Your prayers mean a great deal to all of us!

Suze...many prayers will be bestowed upon you and your mother from my family to yours...we hope the best for her and that God will keep her safe. Besides, she has outlived expectations because God isn't ready for her to come home yet. He hasn't fixed her special chair for her.

Update:

My mom had her surgery and is in the recovery room. They are keeping her overnight due to her breathing issues and if it wasn't for that they would have let her go home today. Thank you again for all of your wonderful support and prayers!
