2 1/2 cups sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs 3 cups of flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 1 (15oz) can of pumpkin In a large mixing bowl blend sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time mixing well. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, ground nutmeg, salt and ground cloves. Mix well. Alternating with pumpkin add to wet mixture. Pour into a very well greased bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 65 minutes. Invert onto wire rack or plate. After 10 minutes remove pan. When totally cool you can dust with powdered sugar. If it is not all the way cool the powdered sugar will turn yellow. |
