i have met quite a few- some were more comfortable than others but all of them were fun in their own way

I haven't, but I was hoping to when I signed up. 13,000 posts and a 13,000-page profile got me noticed, and I have a lot of friends and tons of e-mail here, but no real-life meet-ups or dating adventures....

My ex was on this site for a little while a few months ago, but I knew her before I was ever on the site, so that doesn't really count....

I've met people who are members here, but not through this site, if you get me. ;]

I got to meet someone I've met on here about three weeks ago. She was just as I had imagined her to be. Of course she told me up front that the distance (in miles) between us would proclude a relationship, but she was in the neighborhood and we had lunch!!

I might be a simple guy, but that was actually good enough for me. Of course I hadn't eaten a meal with a woman in what, eight or nine months, but that's not the point. I got to meet someone, we had fun, laughed, and, as far as I'm concerned, I had a DATE!!!

I actually just went on a weekend trip with someone from here. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Yeah, once you talk to people online a few times, is like you know them. Just like everyone here, I feel I have a lot of friends.
