The fascination with marriage has eluded me for quite some time. I understand it represents a deeper commitment, but only in a financial sense. Marriage, as far as I can tell, kills relationships. I once told a girl I'd marry her, and I see now that it's almost an insult. Love can't be defined by a piece of paper, and most definitely shouldn't be represented by one.
