is it the part of your arm that touches your side or the back of your arm?

You could have an infection, you have glands in there that swell when your body is trying to fight an infection, take your temp and if it's not better in 24 hours call the doc and make an appt...

Not really out of the norm... I deal with very sick children all day at the hospital and have to restrain them lift them and carry them for their procedures.. but don't remember any one incident... its more of a sharp point tenderness area

great idea if it's in the soft part of your armpit. if you feel like its a muscle issue grab the muscle that hurts and move your arm in such a way that the bone moves under your muscle. The bone will work out any deep trigger points.

FYI: I'm in school for massage therapy happy
