why the hell not

This life that I live
it's the best that I got,
and to live without you
my heart would be shot,
You told me you need me
and at the time I was bent
in the best freaking way
now I know what you meant,
I'm trying so hard
to make sure you're happy,
even though
I'm doing it crappy,
I can bring a sweet smile
onto your lips,
as I gently place
my hands on your hips,
we'll sway to the moonlight
we'll sway to the stars,
this moment we share
I know will be ours.
