Topic: Does anyone listen to Contemporary Christian music?

If you're a Christian but don't like the typical boring sounds, this type of music has that Çontemporary flavor added to it. If you've never heard them, check it out at "99.1 FM" and you'll hear for yourself.

I'm not a christian whatsoever, but I do however listen to some pretty good christian metal bands. For anyone that likes the harder, heavier music but is a christian, check out some bands like Demon Hunter, Project86, Zao, As I Lay Dying, Living Sacrifice to name a few!

I just found out yesterday one of my favorite bands, Flyleaf is a Christian band, and I happen to be an atheist, lol.

I would listen to contemporary christian music if it was not so cheesy. Most of it makes me want to puke, and has this wimpyness to it. I think in general it makes Christians look real soft, which not all of them are. I have checked out some of the metal bands, but to me most are just plain crappy music rather than cheesy. I will admit, I am a sucker for old stryper though lol.
