Recently found out that my late husband's favorite aunt passed away
yesterday, her funeral is Tuesday...She was also a favorite of mine, as
she was about the only one that didnt dessert me after my husband passed
away & she kept in touch...A spunky lady ...She'll be missed

OHH Thndr, so sorry to hear that. It's always hard to lose a loved one
whether they were related or just a very good friend. After your husband
passed, I'm sure her being there for you made your bond with her a
little tighter. It's ok kiddo, this bummed feeling shall pass in due
time.

Thank you all...she was really my only 'tie' here in Kansas ...guess I'm

So sorry, Thunder. I know what you mean about being deserted by his
family after a divorce. Blood's thicker than water, but when the water
still cherishes you, you get more attached.

remember, you have friends who are here for you whenever you need us.

Again, thank you all for your thoughts & prayers. It really hit me hard
last night, brought back a lot of memories & I was/am having a rather
rough time coping with it. She was a real spitfire... about 4' 10", 100
lbs, 92 yrs old & didn't take Sh*t off of anyone...I really admired that
woman and she stuck by me after my husband died when the rest of his
family only wanted what they could get from me (life ins, etc).
Ok..I'm rambling here...sorry folks.....now back to our regular
scheduled programming.....

Thndr.. remember how she was in life and keep those memories with you..
find the one memory that you can't help but laugh when you think of it
and keep that with you always. so whenever you feel sad that she is
gone, just pull that memory up and it will make you feel so much better.
