a week from Saturday. Seems to be a great guy (not from this site). I am not sure what to do, I honestly wasnt "in the market" for dating again, but he seems really nice and people here (at home) are pushing me to do this, thinking it would be good for me.....im nervous, not sure about this, not because of him....because of me.

a week from Saturday. Seems to be a great guy (not from this site). I am not sure what to do, I honestly wasnt "in the market" for dating again, but he seems really nice and people here (at home) are pushing me to do this, thinking it would be good for me.....im nervous, not sure about this, not because of him....because of me. I "get it" completely! First date with a guy recently...had the "I'm not looking for a serious relationship" discussion and then the chemistry started in. I've got a serious crush...it's ridiculous, actually, but can't be helped. I guess I can say I've moved from "no way" to "open to the possiblity" but it still scares the crud outta me on many levels. I've decided to just enjoy the ride and whatever happens is okay...might try to get yourself in that mid-frame in order to enjoy your date :) |

Have fun picking out your clothes, doing your hair & make up & just being girly. Then relax, have fun & get to know the guy. No expectations, just enjoy.

true...but when it comes to men, i can be a bitter, frigid...you know what haha That sounds like somebody else's BS still impacting your self-perception. I believed a lot of crap about myself and my ability to interact with men based on my ex's "conditioning" about what a lousy wife/woman/lover I was but guess what...I found out he was W-R-O-N-G and boy, is that sweet! |
