I tell you what, little man... It's arrogant people like you that really chap my a$$. People that sit on their high horse proclaiming that they have other people all figured out and they know it all. You somehow think you are better...but I really should tell you something.... come closer...... Your arrogance and your loftiness makes you very ugly on the inside....which happens to be the place where any truly good woman is going to look. If you think you look good....just remember that your so-called beauty can be gone in an instant. Calling me names? Making false allegations? You're no better than the very thing you are scolding me for. We are talking about big girls and their ability to lose those extra pounds by working them off. The proof? There is no such thing as a fat marathon runner. Why? because it burns more fat than can ever be stored on a human body. This is why marathon runners are pure muscle. If you aren't losing weight, you aren't running far enough. Like I said, unless you have a medical condition that would kill you, you have no excuse for being a big girl if you don't want to be. I will make an addendum to my initial statement and say that I am perfectly fine with big girls being big as long as they are happy with who they are. I am not fine with them complaining that nobody likes them because they are fat although they have a 'good' personality. Good is not a definitive term; it is abstract and its meaning is different relative to every viewer. What's good for you, could be bad for me. The intentions of the opening poster are clear to me. They are the same intentions I would possess if I were to create a thread with contents such as "would you rather date a skinny man with a great personality or a big guy with a fake personality" Just my honest opinion of course

I dunno, there was a day when I would have given a PC answer but having dated both, the thick girls seemed more whiny or militant on average.
(Afterthought, I have thick friends who aren't like that, so it's -not- universal.) Personally, there are medical reasons keeping me thin and I wouldn't wish them on anyone. Last thing I'm putting up with is someone b*tching me out for being underweight. ...And sorry, the last few female posters are average or curvy by today's medical standards, not fat. |

It's a very hurtful and narrowminded view to take that causes another person to feel inadequate because they don't measure up to YOUR standards. I personally dislike people who think they are better than others. So you are right if you say I'm no better than you...because I also believe you don't have to be the way you are. You can choose to be accepting of other people despite their appearance.......and you CHOOSE to be critical. In this process you hurt people...and THAT I don't tolerate and will speak out against every time I hear it. (or read it as the case may be) I'm sorry, but you don't get to decide how other people should look. |

I'd go for neither I have no respect for big girls because they have no respect for themselves. All big girls, unless mentally retarded or some major malformity that restricts exercise, have the ability to be that skinny girl that she loves to hate. I am citing the tv show "The Biggest Loser" here. Every single contestant lost weight, but they REALLY had to work out hard. Just like fat girls can get skinny girls, it's not hard for a skinny girl with a *****y and fake attitude to learn how to be legit and sincere. Do not, please for the love of god, justify your size by thinking you have a great personality. Your personality can be found, if not better, in good looking people because the world is nicer to good looking people. They have no reason to be mad at the world, therefore they are always smiling Man are you asking for it. He's just speaking his opinion... and i agree with him completely... you have to care about yourself great person or not... however i'm not willing to turn the other cheek on someone just because they are over weight i beleive true love can be found no matter what your shape or size may be... but there are limits. I can't stand when guys ignore me just because i'm not pencil thin, but my self-esteem is really high, i do take care of my body... i excersize, i eat healthy for the most part, i mean i've been vegetarian for almost 8 years now.. but i still have a bit of chub to me and i'm happy with it. I'm more than willing to accept people for who they are and not what they look like |
