I've gutted 75% of my house. It's been six months now and I'm nowhere
near being done. I do reno's and some new construction for a living. Among other things. What's that saying about a cobbler's kids

A cobbler's kid's are the one's without shoes! Meaning that my house is last on the list and will likely take forever to finish.

OMG I live right beside a ravine here and last night some guys came with
2 bobcats, a big farm tracter and lots and lots of soil mixed with manure and they layed it all along the ravine. The smell of the manure is so strong and just now, I started smelling it again. I asked one of the guys what they were gonna plant there and he said trees and flowers. The smell brings back good memories from when I was a kid on the farm. |
