I'm sure this has been asked before, if so forgive me.
When people peek at your profile, do you notice the moniker that they use? Has it stopped you from emailing or chatting with that person? I have to admit, if it's really strange or has what I think is a bizarre meaning, I won't contact them. And I have seen some strange ones. What's your take on this? Just curious... |

Well, like yesterday, I got a perv from a little 19 year old boy and his profile moniker included "big" and "c*ck", so........ yes, there are some I won't go near with those dumbass names, never mind that he's a child, to boot!!!

If it's too obviously a sex-related reference (say, if they use 69 in the name, or something blatant like that), I'm not interested. It's almost always a scammer trying to sell something. Or it might just be someone looking strictly for sex, but I'm still not interested.
Adjectives in screen names ("sexy" or "hot" or "gorgeous," etc.) generally strike me as a little bit desperate, a little bit too much "trying-to-convince-myself-it's-true" -- OK, YOU may think you're sexy, but I probably won't. Let me decide on my own. That sort of thing is WAY too subjective for you to be claiming the title for yourself. Any name that's built around another person's name (Billswife, Hectorsmom, etc.) tells me that this person defines herself solely in terms of being an adjunct to another person. Probably not someone I would mesh well with -- if you can't see yourself as an individual, I won't have any desire to do so, either. Some text-speak-type names are hard to decipher and they hurt my eyes. Anything with an "a" at the end, where it should be an "er" ("lova" instead of "lover" for example) automatically relegates you to the Mindless Passe-Even-In-The-90s Slang Department. |

what is a moniker, I'm so glad YOU asked that first! But in answer to the question, yes there's monikers that I would avoid, but sometimes the moniker will be ok, but when I start reading the profile...no, no, no!! No sense in wasting any more time! |

the hott4u69 type names don't do it for me. Yeah, I am turned off by that type. Anything with "69" or body part references. Stuff like "whatuwant" "hot4u" "urnextluv" are repellant. Disclaimer: If these are actually screen names on here I am unaware of it. I was making up examples. |
