I can sign in and all, but M2 surely has a strange face now. Everthing is lined up on the lefthand side and it takes ages to get somewhere

Yes, it seemed better for a while, but now it's as bad as ever

invisible, if you have not already done so, try emptying your cache and deleting your cookies. If those steps don't do the trick, then I would suggest restarting your computer. If nothing above solves the problem, then what operating system and browser version are you using?

I've tried above, didn't help I'm using windows vista and firefox 3

Is Mingle2 the only site that is running slowly for you? Also, can you describe in more detail where the site stops loading? For example, if you click on the Community link at the top, does any part of the page start to load? If so, where does it stop on the page before it hangs?
