Make sure you have large sums of cash set aside to repair either one, take it from me I'm a mechanic, nothing cheap to fix on them.

really depends on what your into. Of course i am an audi nut and love my audi s4. It just handles like it's on rails and was just fun to modify. Bmw tend to have all the gadgets and toys with a ton of options. Both brands are hella expensive to fix when something goes wrong if your outta warranty. Resale on both brands are pretty damn good. Best advice is test drive both types and go for the car that thinks fits your budget and what type of experience u enjoy.

Okay everyone says expensive to fix .. what mileage would you look to keep a used one at in order to minimize your chances of being in the shop stat.

And I own a Mazda RX8 .. my brakes ran 600 .. are we talking more than that?frustrated pitchfork

Not for an expensive sports car hon .. and it's thru the dealership which I had to do to keep my warranty valid ..

For Co roads def anything with AWD will be a blast. So if you looking at bmw do an xi model or pretty much any audi is awd standard.
