Hella, good sh*t sluggo. I'm just glad it's over and we got 2 really
good players(49ers) in the 1st round, plus we got 2 1st round picks next
year. Although.........that whole situation REALLY PISSED ME OFF!!! We
couldv'e had Dewayne Jarrett, who damn sure wouldn't have hurt our
chances in the red-zone due to Gore's inability to score the goal-line
TD. We got that Jason Hill guy, who supposedly wooed draft on-lookers
with his speed, he still doesn't have the credentials of one Dewayne
Jarrett, who scored TD's like it was goin out of style. Plus, we got the
sketchy Darrell Jackson from the Sleazec*cks, what good did that do???
Okay, we got another guy who can drop the ball(ala Ashley Lelie). Great,
meanwhile, for this season, we couldv'e had a bad MF'er at WR tryin to
do his damndest to do what he did in college, score TD's.

Hey Red, you didn't want Dewayne Jarrett and his 4.68 lack of speed (on
a good day).... Jackson puts up numbers so I can't arguee with
that...But Liele is a complete Zero! I won a bet with my Bro last
season: My Bro bet he'd get 3 TD's when I told him he was a
poser.....well, lets say I was never even came close to losing the bet

Jackson is a good clutch performer. I think san fran still needs a
couple of vets on that defense to really do something.

Aw, sluggo, you must be forgettin that one guy who ran a 4.6 40 time and
was still the fastest MF'er on the football field, and a 1st ballot Hall
Of Famer, one Jerry Rice. Timed speed doesn't really matter, football
speed and a nose for the end-zone is what really matters. I bet fanta is
happy as hell about his team's draft!

Red, the difference is that Rice had what they call "Game Speed"! Jerry
might have "Clocked" a 4.6 when he was timed but when he caught the ball
in stride he was gone! Jarret's 4.68 was the best he could do and they
said he was timed in the 4.8's a bit before the combine (which is why he
didn't run there)...

As a Viking Fan I can't wait to see Adrian Peterson running behind Mount
McKinney & Hutchenson!!!

I see what ya mean about the game speed, and yeah, he damn sure ain't

Lelie..........WTF were they thinkin on that one?? At least we beefed
up our last placed defense a lot this offseason. We're gonna need it

I love this time of year!! EVERYBODY'S team has at least a chance of
doin somethin good, so we're all feelin frisky. What do ya think about
Troy Smith goin to the Ravens? After a couple years, they'll probably
try to hand over the reigns to him, since ya know they got no faith in
Boller. McGahee just might be able to do somethin worth while on that
team, but only time will tell.


Also, how long do ya think it'll take for AP to take over the startin
role in Minnesota? Or an even better question, who the hell is gonna be
yalls startin QB?? Ya think they might stick with Travaris Jackson?

I think that's his name.........not sure. Too many drinks and doobies

I think Peterson will start the season as the #1, and Taylor will be a
3rd down back: You don't pick a RB that hi to be sitting on the
pine....Jackson will get the first crack to see if he will amount to
anything (after all, how hard is it to hand the ball to Peterson?).
Troy Smith should be the starter in a season or two, McNairs getting
old...
Sorry Red, I'm not a homer when it comes to being a fan (I have NO
illussion that the Vikings are winning the SuperBowl this season)
