The worst and best things about meeting online are...
For me the worst is that our distance takes the traditional dating routine out of the equation. I estimate that I would have gone on at least 72 dates with my sweetie by now if he were not so far away. The best is simply that I got the chance to meet him at all. What are yours? |

worst--is that you cannot see what these people are like in real life....cuz people are different in person than on here
best--you get to meet tons of new people from all walks of life and have fun with cool people |

worst - it's hard as hell to build trust in an environment built on anonymity.
best -if you mess up really bad, it's so easy to run away, build a new character and start over. |

What are yours? Worst -- Distance is a huge one. I would also say people's (not everybody, but enough for me to make a running gag out of it) inability to come across as anything more than a cardboard cutout with no originality or creativity whatsoever. I don't know whether this is more about laziness or simple lack of writing skills (I suspect mixtures of both, in various ratios), but it's not appealing. Best -- It's cheap, it's easy, and -- once you've been bamboozled by the tricksters a few times -- you have a pretty good idea of what to watch for. And you can make some really great friends, too. |

Worst - Not being able to see body language and communication mishaps
Best - It allows you to get to know someone on a different level |
