Get the Yuk Sung if they have it, it's frickken delicious Had a Sapporo Light and the Orange Scallops. After the potstickers.... then some tea. The conversation... well let's just say it was eye opening. He is fantabulous and now I am in a quagmire. Having brilliantly insightful friends can be a blow to the ego. After the dinner I talked to someone from another site who hung up on me after he found out what I do for a living. Just a "click"....This morning I get this e-mail that said (paraphrasing here)"well, that didnt go so good. had a feeling youd try to analyze me. not going to explain why i am on the site to anyone. so i wont" Ummmm. I simply asked why he chose to join the site. |

Forensic psychology is a fascinating subject and I would love to have done something like that. My partners on LAPD would always get annoyed by me because I spent too much time talking to suspects. They wanted to book them and get back out in the field and I wanted to analyze the suspects. |

I'm very lucky. I love my job.... but the guy I saw at the jail this morning... woah. He has been urinating on his door and defecating and smearing the feces... Oh god, the smell.
Thankfully he insisted he wasn't who they said he was and wouldn't cooperate under his legal name so I had no choice but to go. He said the secret service knew all about it. Poor guy. The stench....I can still smell it. It permeated my nose. |

The stench....I can still smell it. It permeated my nose. That reminds me of a funny story. My younger sister was contemplating what career she should go into and I had been on the LAPD for about 2 years at that time. One day she says she's going to look into a career in law enforcement like mine as a cop. I asked her why she had changed her mind about being an airline stewardess. She says, "Because of the gross factor. Sometimes people on planes throw up." I proceeded to tell her about the gross factor in police work. She has been very happy as a child care provider for the last 15 years. |

Ha, that is FUNNY. Especially as kids are messy and dirty, but that is acceptable and to be expected. Poopie from a kid is way less gross than poopie from a dude. Or getting spit in the face....
Once in a while I get hit on, which cracks me up. I bet that happens to you as well, yes? |

With his hands cuffed behind his back he says, "so, what are you doing when you get off work tonight? Wanna go out?" |

Most of the times they had less flattering things to say to me. I was, after all, arresting them and taking them to jail. They usually weren't too happy.

Morning loveys....
I had quite the emotional roller-coaster of a night last night... All ex husbands should be killed at the courthouse at the time of signing.... Lillith can you help since you work for the courts? |

I get the creepy menacing stares and the "what are you wearing under that suit".... Big difference in how they view the female doctor vs. the female cop. |

Lillith can you help since you work for the courts? Sorry. Mine's been a pain since his girlfriend broke up with him. I'm his target again. |

I get the creepy menacing stares and the "what are you wearing under that suit".... Big difference in how they view the female doctor vs. the female cop. Ohhh no, a doctor, I guess they just think I am one. But yes, they think they can creep me out I guess. I stare right back and that must translate to 'I want you', when it means, 'I'm not scared of you, bring it on, dude'. Some are truly ill, the rest just need to get bytch slapped in prison. |
