Yep! Wouldeee...it amazes me than DEMS would let our economy sink to save their self serving political necks.

Loose lips sink ships & all that. I think I'd rather have a PREZ who says the glass is half full not half empty.

The discourse from our fearful friends on the right is growing increasingly desperate and angry. The possibility that their antichrist, their "Pal of terrorists," their "empty suit," actually might get elected along with a wave of new Democrats in Congress is becoming their horrific reality.

Imo, this blue tide is both an affirmation of Barack Obama and a repudiation of George Bush and of John McCain, the man who sided with "Dubya" over 90% of the time.

I acknowledge the economic crisis is a result of both parties, but George Bush's wasteful war in Iraq was the nail (screw is more appropriate) that may just seal John McCain's political coffin.

in the world of economists that think barry's delusions are waaayyyyy better, of course.

you know, the world in which suffocating indebtedness and overextension of fiscal responsibilities is sound economic policy for a representative government of the people and for the people and by the people.

where else wwould we be talking about? earth?

yeah, right.

have some more KOOL AID, you seem to be getting woozy.

Wouldee I must say I do enjoy your posts. Unfortunately now most of the sheeple have fallen under the color blue instead of the Bush administration and fear of terror now people are following another tyrant for fear of an economic crash. How come no one questions Obama? No one can defend him using policies. They all believe in him as if he is some sort of saint that can turn water into wine. Obamas followers appear to fall under the catagory of people that have not done their homework. He does not plan on cutting any government policy from anywhere.

He says he will phase out troops from iraq but plans on sending them andtheir equipment into Afganistan and Pakistan. He also wants "peaceful" intervention in Georgia as well. He thinks we dont help out third world countries enough, so he proposes to dump billions more into foreign aid on top of all previously mentioned. I read all these policies from his campaign website.

Then to top it all, he plans to implement a healthcare plan they say is very similar to the one used in Massachusetts, that insured hundreds of thousands of the uninsured. The cost was initially almost 2 billion dollars for 6.5 million people. Do the math use the figures 1.5 billion dollars and 300 million people. You have a policy costing american tax payers 70 billion extra dollars per year. Then he turns around and votes yes on both bailout plans. Of course he ALWAYS votes his party lines so this is no surprise. This will cost us another trillion (close enough) initially, god knows how much later on. He also claims he will lower taxes for 95% of americans. One thing he didn't mention has the inflation tax. You know the tax EVERYBODY gets from the printing and use of unsound money from the Federal Reserve. This is where high medical and oil costs come from ladies and gentlemen. Inflation used to be around 2% a year, although now they are predicting more like 10% from this bailout plan.

We need to lose the mentallity of "here and now", and we need to think about the "future". Obama's plans will make our children all go bankrupt.
