I have someone I like in a college class of mine, but all I ever can think of to say is "howd you do on that test?" or " hey, how are you?" Short little blurbs of thought, without ever really starting up a conversation. She seems to favor the chair next to mine or in the same general location, even if I change places. Dang I feel like I am in middle school again. lol To me it is so intimidating when a bunch of other people are around that could listen in on my game (or lack there of) I need to go in there plastered sometime I think. ok try this on her.... "If i had a nickle for every woman that i've seen as beautiful as you......well i'd only have a nickle!"  well if you're gonna play hardball,fine try this one "well here i am.....now what were your other 2 wishes?" the trick is to make her laugh.even corny pick up lines can make a woman laugh and that is your main goal |

but you will get farther by being aggressive than you will by being passive. Really? Speak ONLY for yourself there, okay? And, no, I'm not into comparing bedpost notches.

If you like her ask her out. the worst she can do is say no. You wont know till you try. ..no, that is not the worst that can happen..it can definitely get worse...in addition to getting rejected, he'll have to see her again at every classroom meeting making for a very uncomfortable situation....you may sit further away from her next time, she may sit further away from you ...you may no longer have the confidence to say hi to her anymore....this may affect your study....my suggestion -- ask her out for coffee at the student union when the semester is over... Keep it simple. Ask her if she wants to get a cup of coffee in the lounge or someplace nearby. If she's interested, she'll say yes. Don't make up silly excuses like fake homework questions. If you do have a real one, that could be the trick to start the conversation when you get the coffee.

Oh man. ASK HER! I have had times when I have hoped and waited for a guy to ask me out and he never did. I didn't consider that he was shy... at least not at first. My first thought was that he never liked me and I was a fool to consider him.
