The Bibkical calendar is not like the one we use to day. The beginning of the year starts in the spring.

Ex 12:1-3

Now Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 "This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: 'On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household
NKJV

The 10th Day of this month before a Passover everyone brought in lamb spotless and unblimished to hhave as a household pet.

This was to let the people know this lamb who they had become attached to was going to be sacraficed as the Passover lamb for thier sins.

When Yahshua entered Jerusalem on a donky and the people yelling out Hosanna, Hosanna.
He did this as the spotless lamb entering his fathers house.

What was the first thing he did and say?

Matt 21:12-13

Then Yahshua went into the temple of Yahweh and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer ,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
NKJV

Ex 12:12-18

12'For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am Yahweh. 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

14'So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to Yahweh throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance. 15 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel. 16 On the first day there shall be a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation for you. No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat — that only may be prepared by you. 17 So you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this same day I will have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an everlasting ordinance.
NKJV

Ex 12:21-28
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them,"Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover lamb . 22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. 23 For Yahweh will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, Yahweh will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 24 And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. 25 It will come to pass when you come to the land which Yahweh will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service. 26 And it shall be, when your children say to you, 'What do you mean by this service?' 27 that you shall say,'It is the Passover sacrifice of Yahweh, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.'" So the people bowed their heads and worshiped. 28 Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
NKJV

here is a little plainer scripture that Yahweh had moses write down.

Lev 23:4-8

'These are the feasts of Yahweh, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times. 5 On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is Yahweh's Passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to Yahweh; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it. 8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.'
NKJV

Yahshua came into Jerusalem on the 10th day of the 1th month, which is the spring time of year.

He went right to his fathers house and threw out the money changers and healed all that were thier.

The he come back to his home to prepare for his sacrafice for mankind.

The blood on the lintel that the Isrealites put on to be protected from the destroyer or death angel saw this blood and knew he could not touch them as Yaahweh gave commandmment.

This blood was symbolic of Yahshua's Blood covering your sins. When again the destroyer passes over the earth this blood of Yahshua which covers you and the Holy Spirit which gives you guidance for all things you will be passed over. Protected.

Lets look at what Yahshua said at the last passover.

Luke 22:19-22

19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. 21 But behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table. 22 And truly the Son of Man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!"
NKJV

Here Yahshua says this Passover now is in rememberance of him. His blood covers. as we see in Rev,

Rev 6:5-6

When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."
NKJV

and do not harm the oil and the wine."
