So tell me...what does your hero Ron Paul propose to do about the war on terror? Which is widespread around the world I might add?

Noninterventionist foriegn policy solves this for many reasons, first off, there no blowback from intelligence agencies meddling. 2nd we actually have the resources available with our Military and National Guard to police our border, man power to check our ports and protect our National securtiy interests in this nation. By trading, traveling and generally spreading good will, rather then empire building. Terrorsim goes elsewhere.

Besides that, terrorism is a tiny tiny threat, you stand a better chance of getting killed by poisoning from Chinese goods or getting struck by lighting.

Not that I've ever called Dr.Paul my hero, but seeing how there is very few truth tellers in Government these days, I will continue to trumpet the words of Dr.Paul. You can take the flip floppers, McBama or someone who stands for truth,liberty and the Constitution of the United states.

Why does the Republican establishment spurn Paul?

Let me add to AB's great answer with this: Both sides of the Aisle are infiltrated with Globalists, who are corrupt and those that aren't tend to be paid for. Dr.Paul is neither of those, in fact the Lobbyists call him Dr.No.

Due to that, he is treated like the crazy uncle at Sunday dinner, not so much now though. They played their hand and proved the good Dr. to be correct, yet again.
