Portland, OR. Wanting to relocate there. Looking for people who have lived there or who have family from there. Not interested in sports trivia..just weather, jobs, cost of living, transportation. Have done some research on Craig's and other. Just like to hear some first hand experiences? Anyone know of good neighborhoods or bad to live in?

You may want to post under the Oregon forum or find someone in Portland, hit the underline in their profile that says "Portland", and you'll see a list of all sorts of people living there, then e-mail them??? It's worth a shot if you don't get much feedback this way. I know a couple of people from there and the area is rich in history and I understand it's very pretty around there. But, couldn't tell you any more than that. Best wishes!!!

Thanks for replies. We used to have so many regional posts on JSH. All I see is Hawaii and the posts are few and far between.
