I have found myself saying "I'm bored" a lot lately. Does that mean I am a boring person? I don't know...just a thought I suppose.

We used to have a lot of "I'm bored" threads in the forums here -- always by the same handful of people -- and there was a general consensus that bored = boring -- because a.) it's not our fault that they were bored, and b.) there's always something to do if you want there to be, and c.) it's not our job to entertain them. If they couldn't drum up the mental wherewithal to figure out something to do, then let 'em suffer. Not my problem.

Saying "I'm bored" doesn't necessarily make you boring.

Posting "I'm bored" 1000 times will make people avoid reading your threads, though.

I'm never bored. If nothing else I can always chat with the voices in my head.

If we hook up your voices with my voices we could do lunch...and no one would be bored.

I tend to argue with the voices in my head though, which is endlessly amusing to my 6 year old when I do it out loud...at least SOMEBODY is amused..
