Breathless Essence

Breathe in me the breath of life
And share the wine of thine essence.
If truth be known I shall behold
Thine gaze upon thee from afar.

Though perceived I, your very flesh,
I am guilty of no sweet deception.
Intolerant lies nor tear filled cries
Could bear my arms to loosen from you.

Your answer dear to relieve the condemned,
For thine heart has imprisoned me.
It's naught but simple,
Yet so complex,
Still a heart may deceive.

To take the chance or perhaps
Thine perception has served you well.
Peer into me, take what you see
Lest I insult the beauty within Thee.

Come to me, my breath of life
And dine in the essence we seek.
For I in you and you in I,
Together in love as one should be.
