well I was looking online at one of my fav places... Portillos. For those of you in the chicago area you would know... best italian beefs and hot dogs EVER. Sooo my bf loves them too. They are always advertising about shipping their food anywhere from online. Sooo I thought I would be a good girlfriend lol and send him some hot dogs that he loves to his work one day cause he never gets to leave for lunch. But an order of 10, yes 10 hot dogs ( the smallest amount you can ship) is $54.00!!!! wtf?? I can't afford to do that

$54.00 for what I call heart attack on a warm bun for a loved one?
I'm not much for recognizing birthdays, so I would just settle for a nice candlelit, home cooked meal of beanie weenies and a cheesy musical hallmark card. Also, if you that hard pressed to afford $54 for a birthday present, you may want to consider cancelling your monthly internet service bill. Just a friendly thought. |

That's my thinking too, if you women would look a bit deeper into my writing. Sheesh! I mentioned a beenie weenie candle-lit dinner, which would really mean more to me than my loved one spending money she couldn't afford on me. I'm just saying, be original and creative. Some of the best gifts I got from my ex-wife she made by hand or crafted with little effort or money. |
