I use Blogger.com as my blogging platform and APlus.net as a hosting provider. I have worked with Wordpress a bit, but for its advanced features/flexibility, the trade-off is complexity. Blogger is very easy to use.

blogger dot com is ,great also ! About WP , you can check it's users and extension statistics in the net , meaning popular ! No ? |

Blogger has statistics also, but I can't compare the two. Also, it's easy to set up Google Analytics to track your blog traffic.

Blogger is fine if you never intend to grow your blog reach. Of course, you can mitigate some of this by hosting on your own domain (example.com). Doing so would, in theory, allow you to move to WordPress or MovableType or some other platform down the road and keep your Google back-links.
But I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever recommend someone use Blogger.com by letting google host it (i.e., http://example.blogspot.com). Ever. |
